General Description: 

The Town Clerk/Treasurer is a key municipal official responsible for maintaining public records, managing elections, issuing licenses, and serving as a liaison between the town government and residents. The Town Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for providing the necessary accounting and financial services for the town. This includes all the duties and responsibilities outlined in Chapter 34, Finance Administration, in the Town of Saluda Code of Ordinances. This position reports to the Town Administrator on the day-to-day operations and to the Mayor and Town Council.
